Town Council

Can anyone advise where the Town Council offices were before they moved to the Almonry and dates please.

I have contacted the Battle library and East Sussex Records office and no one holds any records.

The current Town Council refuse to answer any of my requests for information.

Can anyone advise in what year was the Battle Town Council formed and when and who was the first elected Mayor of Battle?
