Saxonwood provides a
country setting within easy
walking distance of the
town centre.
Saxonwood has 33
bedrooms designed for
individual occupancy,
where residents are
encouraged to bring their
own furniture and personal
belongings. Some have
en suite facilities and
others have a vanity unit
with a hand basin.
Facilities include a well used
residents’ lounge, laundry
service, activities room and
hairdressing service.
Saxonwood residents
have the opportunity to
get involved in various
activities such as arts and
crafts, board games and
weekly visits from local
school children.
Our chef uses fresh
ingredients and prepares
three meals a day which
can be eaten amongst
friends in the dining room,
or in residents’ own rooms.
Refreshments are served
throughout the day.
Each resident has their own
tailored care plan which is
reviewed on a regular basis
to promote independence.
Residents have access
to local GPs and health
services. Our dedicated
team of carers are on hand
24 hours a day to provide
support to residents.
